By JTHR · For professional firms, starting with law firms

The operating system for law firms, from the matter to the ledger.

QIWAM brings matters, clients, hearings and deadlines, billing and accounting, people and leave, and the firm's own website into one Arabic-first system. Enter information once, and it reaches everywhere it is needed.

QIWAM is in its first launch phase with licensed firms.

Legal practice

  • A single page per matter or consultation: parties, team, hearings, deadlines, documents, time and invoices.
  • Conflict checks at intake, and ethical walls that override every other permission.
  • A matter's team derived from the responsibilities assigned in it.
  • Hearings, deadlines with a responsible and a deputy owner, and one agenda.
  • Time entries, quotations, engagements and VAT invoices; advances billed on receipt and deducted later.
  • Documents kept in the firm's own Microsoft 365 or Google Drive, linked to their records; template generation.
  • A client portal whose figures come from the firm's own records.

Finance and firm resources (ERP)

  • Double-entry ledger, manual journals that are reversed, never deleted, opening balances, period and year-end closing.
  • Sales, receipts and allocations, credit notes, refunds, bad-debt write-offs, client trust money.
  • Supplier bills with input VAT, partial payments, supplier statements and advances.
  • Bank statements with automatic matching; VAT return; balance sheet, account statements, cash flow and revenue reports.
  • Cost centers, budgets and reserves; people, leave, job grades, decisions and training.
  • Daily mirroring of Daftra books, compared against Daftra's own figures.

Website and growth

  • The firm's own bilingual website on its own domain, reading services, team and content from QIWAM.
  • Service catalog and tiers, opportunities and proposals, events with registration, newsletter.

Security

  • Per-firm isolation enforced by row-level security in the database.
  • Approved records and ledger entries are never edited or deleted; corrections are reversals.
  • Sign-in codes, an optional human check, and a separate client sign-in.
  • Every external connection has an owner, a scope, a revocation path and periodic review.
